Description

Sail across the globe with the Scan AIS74 (12074-xxx) high gain marine AIS antenna. This economical replacement for all professional marine AIS antennas provides improved gain compared to other high quality marine AIS antennas and reduces weight for easier installation.

The SCAN AIS74 is a omni-directional antenna that works on the International AIS-band (16.15-162.5 MHz) with a Gain of 4dB. The carefully designed antenna elements are sealed in a high quality glass fibre tube. The antenna cable (optional) requires an UHF-male connector to connect to the antenna UHF-Female connector at the bottom of the SCAN AIS74 Marine antenna.

The SCAN AIS74 is suitable for all types of vessels, from small boats to large coastal ferries and cruise ships. The high gain marine AIS antenna can easily be mounted on rail, mast or deck. All metal parts are dc grounded so a ground plane is not required. With the SCAN AIS74 you get a light weight AIS marine and offshore antenna, suitable for corrosive and demanding environments.
