Description

The Poynting OMNI-498 is a dual-band Wi-Fi omni-directional antenna designed specifically for marine and coastal applications. The antenna provides dual-band Wi-Fi coverage in the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 7.2 GHz bands. This makes the OMNI-498 ideal for any Wi-Fi access point, whether older Wi-Fi technology or new technology that goes up to Wi-Fi6E (7.2 GHz).

Thanks to the vertically separated radiating elements, the antenna offers high performance 2x2 MIMO with a peak gain of 9.8 dBi.

The Poynting OMNI-498 has an IP68 protection rating and a housing made of UV-stable ASA radome material that makes the antenna fully protected from dust and salt water. This makes the OMNI 948 suitable for harsh and corrosive environments and the antenna is destined to withstand severe storms. This makes the Poynting OMNI-498 ideal for marine and coastal use.
